Teaching the Write Way
Teaching the Write Way is a professional learning opportunity designed to support high-quality writing instruction for students who access the curriculum through the Virginia Essentialized Standards of Learning (VESOL). The focus is on supporting the communication of thoughts & ideas through writing composition rather than the motoric task of handwriting. Attendees explore the developmental stages of writing, interact with assistive technology solutions that offer access to writing, and experience a variety of instructional activities that can be implemented immediately.
This learning opportunity is now closed for the 2025-26 academic year.
