At T‑TAC ODU, our Autism Focus Area supports educators by providing evidence-informed strategies, high-quality resources, and meaningful professional development designed to elevate learning and inclusion for autistic students. Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects how individuals communicate, behave, and process sensory information. With an estimated 1 in 31 children identified on the spectrum* (per CDC, 2025), it’s essential that educators are equipped with inclusive practices to meet diverse needs.
