Better Serving Students with Emotional Disabilities: A Virginia Plan. A list of 25 evidence-based practices for intervening with students with emotional disabilities.
A summit was held in Charlottesville on August 23, 2010 to report results of a statewide survey and to explore Better Serving Students with Emotional Disabilities: A Virginia Plan. Findings from the teacher and administrator survey responses indicated that many of the effective practices reported in the literature are not widely used. VDOE is developing a plan for disseminating information and professional development to address this Below is the link to the PowerPoint presentations and the references that were used to compile a list of 25 evidence-based practices for intervening with students with emotional disabilities.
