Autism Focused Intervention Resources and Modules(AFIRM) offers free online modules for all 27 evidence-based practices identified by the National Professional Development Center on Autism Spectrum Disorder. Earn a professional development certificate or CEUs for completing a module. The site also offers a resource library of materials that support the use of evidence-based practices with students.
VCU ACE – The Foundations of Autism Spectrum Disorder This free online course focuses on the primary characteristics of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including communication, social development, repetitive patterns of behavior and sensory processing issues along with services available for individuals diagnosed with ASD. Upon completion of the course, you will be eligible for a Certificate of Completion or CEUs.
